Kilop offers three types of PET resin: wide-spec, bottle-grade, and fiber-grade. Of the resin that we supply, most of the resin available is recycled. If affordability is your priority, check out our wide spec resin!

BOTTLE GRADE RESIN GOOD FOR FIBER SPINNING APPLICATIONS. OFFERED IN A RANGE OF IV'S — Wide Spec Resin

Kilop’s wide spec resin is a great choice for applications that do not require strict IV values. Much of our wide spec resin is bottle grade resin that has attributes that exceed the strict mechanical and physical property requirements required for first grade status. But in many cases, the resin is sufficient for fiber spinning applications. These resins are available in a range of IVs rather than a strict value.

Kilop supplies both bottle-grade resin and filament-grade resin. Our bottle-grade resins are great for molding applications, plastic bottles, and packaging. Our fiber-grade resins are perfect for spinning into filament and utilizing for a variety of textile applications, including apparel, shoes, and household upholstery.

RECYCLED SOUCES PLASTIC BOTTLES rPET — Sustainable Resin

More than 80% of the resin we source is from a recycled source that has achieved full circular economy with various products from recycled plastic bottles to recycled textiles back into resin. Using a recycled PET (rPET) will achieve over a 60% reduction in carbon footprint over using a virgin material and has a wide variety of applications for both plastic bottles and textiles alike.
