Synthetic yarn that is partially oriented in the spinning process with a resulting crystallinity of around 5%. Due to their low crystallinity, partially oriented yarns have high shrinkage, high capacity for elongation, and strong mechanical properties.

Draw textured yarns are fully drawn yarns with an added texture on the surface. The texturizing process can add crimp, loops, or interlaces for enhanced yarn bulkiness.

Fully drawn yarns have around 40% or less crystallinity and significantly more orientation of the crystalline structure in the yarn. The resulting shrinkage and elongation are decreased significantly when compared to POY. Fully drawn yarns are typically used as flat yarns, but can also be made in trilobal or other unique shapes.

When your application needs increased strength, high tenacity yarn is also available, which is critical as a component in engineered composite fabric applications.

SUSTAINABLE YARNS
Over 85% of all yarns we supply are from recycled PET. Across our POY, FDY, and DTY offerings, each category can be made from 100% post-consumer recycled PET and is GRS certified. Our recycled yarns are recycled from textile waste, bottle waste, ocean waste, and carbon capture waste gas. All recycled yarn options reduce carbon footprint by over 40% compared to using virgin PET yarn.
